Motels in Jasper, AR

Motels in Jasper, AR
While traveling Scenic Highway 7 in Arkansas, if you blink, you might just miss the little town of Jasper (official population 498, according to the 2000 U.S. census) tucked away in the Ozark Mountains. The 1840s-era town is positioned next to America's first national river, the Buffalo, a first-rate float for the kayaking and canoeing enthusiast. Almost completely surrounded by state parks and land owned by either the National Park Service or the U.S. Forest Service, Jasper is an ideal destination for a quiet getaway or extensive hiking journey. No modern motels or hotels are found here, but rather lots of comfortable rustic and not-so-rustic cabins and delightful country inns.

A charcoal grill and picnic table are also provided, along with all linens and towels. You will have to bring your own food and toiletries. There is also a washer and dryer.
