Muza
Muza offers a selection of fresh home-cooked European American dishes at reasonable prices. Hungarian goulash, pirogi (Polish dumplings stuffed with assorted fillings), kielbasa sausage and potato pancakes make for an authentic Polish meal, while other entrees such as chicken cutlet and beef stroganoff may appeal to the less adventurous. While Muza only seats 25, there is a private dining room that seats eight available by reservation for private parties.

Bavarian Manor Country Inn & Restaurant
An hour's scenic drive along the Hudson south of the city of Troy sits a converted and restored 1865 summer boarding house turned Bavarian-themed Country Inn. Situated on the edge of the Catskill Forest preserve and only miles away from local attractions such as Howe Caverns and state historic site Olana, the Bavarian Manor also has a restaurant specializing in Polish and German delicacies. Schnitzel (breaded veal cutlet), wurst (German sausage) and sauerbraten (vinegar-marinated beef) are a only a few of the authentic and tasty items available. It may be a little further afield, but the homey ambience more than make up for the distance traveled.
