The cosmopolitan restaurant overlooks Centennial Park and has beautiful views of the Atlanta skyline. The setting is elegant with modern décor and original artwork adorning the nude and slate tones of the walls. The space is organized around a grand steel staircase. The wine list is well curated, with selections from France, Italy and many California bottles--a number of selections are under $50.

Canoe

Set alongside the banks of the Chattahoochee River, Canoe restaurant is an elegant destination adorned with wood, brick and all-around rustic charm. All of the tables and lush booths offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The philosophy behind the food is just as sensitive to nature. The menu changes regularly, reflecting the seasons and what the market has to offer. The produce is delivered from local farms and the fish served was most likely caught the day before. Enoteca

Enoteca loosely translates as a wine merchant, and is a small eatery in midtown Atlanta. The ambience is rustic and dimly lit, with exposed beams and bottles of wine lining the walls--perfect for a romantic meal. Specializing in authentic Italian cuisine, the chef is passionate about selecting the finest ingredients and letting them speak for themselves. Enoteca also offers an elaborate wine selection.

The portions can be small, however, but the convivial atmosphere presupposes that diners will order several selections, share and linger for a few hours. This makes for a slightly more expensive supper than one expects from a casual eatery, but the excellent food and romantic atmosphere makes it well worth the cost. The patio is an ideal place to end a summer evening.
