Thermopolis, Wyoming, is located near the center of the state and is home to Hot Springs State Park, where the world's largest mineral hot springs are located. Thermopolis features two water parks, the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, and incredible views of the Bighorn Mountains. Visitors can enjoy rafting, fishing, or swimming in either the Wind River or the Bighorn River. Thermopolis is also a great stopover for visitors traveling to nearby Shoshone National Forest or Yellowstone National Park.

Located inside Hot Springs State Park, Best Western The Plaza Hotel is within walking distance of many of attractions of Thermopolis. It is less than half a mile from Star Plunge and TeePee Pool water parks and only one mile from the wax museums. Just two miles outside Hot Springs State Park, the Coachman Inn Motel is located next to the Big Horn River. It is within easy walking distance to the amenities of the town of Thermopolis, including restaurants and shopping. The Coachman Inn features 22 rooms, including 17 non-smoking rooms and two suites. Each room includes a refrigerator, microwave, and a wireless internet connection. In the morning, guests enjoy a complimentary waffle buffet. Elk Antler Inn

A mile outside Hot Springs National Park and just over a mile from the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, Elk Antler Inn features two- and three-bedroom cabins that are perfect for families. Most cabins feature queen sized beds in each room; however, a few cabins have a queen bed in one room and bunk beds in the other. Each cabin has a small kitchen and a television in each bedroom. The cabins are decorated in classic Western decor. Guests can also barbecue in the special picnic area. Located on the property is the famous Fudge Store, which has homemade fudge, shaved ice, and carved souvenirs.
