Healthy but Hearty Dining

With their slogan "Food with Integrity," Chipotle promises meat that's naturally-raised and hormone-free as well as produce from family and organic farms. A great alternative to fast food, you can customize any number of their entrees. They are plenty of healthy and vegetarian options including a variety of burritos, burrito bowls (for those watching their carb intake), fajita burritos and salads. Order a side of guacamole and chips for an extra-satisfying meal. Most locations have a liquor license so you can add a margarita or beer.

Straight from the Pit to You

Located in nearby Manville, Grub Hut offers the best of both worlds: real BBQ and Taqueria-style Mexican food. Start with one of their special soups like Chicken Tortilla in a tomato broth. Choose how you'd like your ribs, chicken or pulled pork prepared: Dry (straight from the pit); Flamed (grilled); Wet (dressed in sauce); or Glazed (grilled and dressed in sauce). Take advantage of deals like their platters that come with rice, black beans, pico de gallo, Mexican crema and guacamole. Finish with their special Sopadilla Sundaes.

Stop by the Cantina

Known for attentive service, generous portions and affordable prices, Jose's Mexican Cantina has an ambiance suitable for a family night out or an intimate evening for two. While the atmosphere is causal, the menu is lengthy and includes the usual suspects like burritos and tacos as well as a few specialities. Try one of their house specials like Carne al Ranchero, Pollo en Mole or the slightly spicy Camarones Al Diablo. There are plenty of seafood options like the Camarones Oaxaquenos or Enchiladas De Jaiba. Save room for fried ice cream or the Sopapilla Ranchero. Note that Jose's Mexican Cantina serves both corn and flour tortillas.
