Restaurants in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in North America. It offers its visitors a myriad of activities, both in summer and winter. After a long day in the great outdoors, visitors can unwind in some of Dartmouth's eclectic eateries. Whether seeking high dining, or quirky sandwiches, there is no shortage of options available.

Rocco's Ristorante Italiano

Rocco's has been a Dartmouth staple for over fifteen years. Specializing in Rustic Italian cuisine, the elaborate menu features traditional dishes with a modern flair. The real standouts are the antipasti and salads. The Caesar Salad is prepared tableside, to your liking, and adds an element of suspense and entertainment to your supper. The location leaves something to be desired, as being adjacent to a small hotel seems clandestine, but you can instead think of the warm and inviting dining room as a destination.

MacAskill's Restaurant

All of the tables at MacAskill's offer breathtaking views of the Halifax harbor. The waterfront restaurant focuses on seafood, but also has several options for steak, pasta, and poultry lovers. All of the entrees come with legendary garlic bread, and the portions themselves are more than generous. The décor can be a little old-fashioned, but MacAskill's isn't looking to be a trendy hotspot, but instead a waterfront mainstay. The outside patio is a great place to have lunch on a summer afternoon.
