Some outdoor activities that you can participate in in Mexico Beach are swimming, shelling, bird watching, boating, fishing, diving, kayaking, surfing, eco-tours and parasailing. At St. Joseph's Bay Country Club, you can play 18 holes of golf. You can also look for bald eagles in the winter and for turtle hatchlings during the summer. Mexico Beach is also a place where you can shop for souvenirs and clothing and dine in casual restaurants.

Mango Marley's

Mango Marley's is a casual family restaurant with multiple television sets where you can watch your favorite sports. Items on the menu include Buffalo wings, chicken, shrimp, oyster, scallops and fish baskets, salads, sandwiches and wraps. You can choose from Marley's signature dishes, including pulled pork plate, Floribbean fowl and mango mahi mahi. Kids' food items such as popcorn shrimp, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, mini cheeseburger and maccaroni and cheese are also available. Mango Marley's is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Toucan's Tiki Bar

Toucan's TikiBar is a casual restaurant and bar along the beach that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant specializes in seafood and items on the menu include a fish, scallop or shrimp basket, fried or grilled fish sandwich, snow crab legs, Gulf shrimp marinara, and Maine lobster. You can also order non-seafood items including Angus prime rib and ribeye steak, and prime rib, grilled chicken or Philly cheese steak sandwiches. A kids' menu is also available. Toucan's Tiki Bar also caters for special events such as beach weddings for up to 200 people. From Thursday to Sunday there's karaoke. The Upper Deck Bar and the Outside Tiki Bar are open for Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Toucan's Tiki Bar is open daily at 11 a.m.

Fish House Restaurant

Fish House Restaurant is a causal restaurant that specializes in seafood and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Items on the menu include lobster, alligator, oysters, fish, scallops, and crabs. You can also order soup and salads, burgers and sandwiches and chicken, steak and pork entrees. For breakfast you can order bagels, biscuits, and muffins and other items. Weekend breakfast buffet is from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the weekly lunch buffet is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fish House Restaurant is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
