Ventnor Pier

The Ventnor Pier offers a host of outdoor activities. Stroll, jog or ride the six-mile boardwalk. Participate in a volleyball tournament or catch some rays at the Ventnor Beach. You can even test your angling or surfing skills at the pier.

Absecon Lighthouse

The country's third tallest lighthouse and the Garden State's tallest lighthouse, the Absecon Lighthouse stands 150 feet high and dates back to the 1850s. Climb the 228 steps and at the top, glimpse a spectacular view of the Atlantic City skyline. A museum can be found in the replicated Keeper House. The museum houses photos of the historic lighthouse and information about shipwrecks. The lighthouse is open from June through September.

Fishing

Atlantic City offers a bevy of fishing expeditions.

With Highroller Fishing, you can ride a 50-foot pontoon boat that holds 61 passengers. Try your luck at catching fluke, bluefish, weakfish and stripers. During fishing season, trips depart twice daily.
