Bali evokes images of surfers dotting the seascape and wicker huts lining the beaches, but there's so much more to this island. The city of Ubud, known as the cultural center of the island, teems with museums and galleries. Visitors flock to the area to enjoy the ceremonies and rituals at the many Hindu temples in the area. Bicycle rental shops dot the landscape and nearby mountains offer excellent local hiking. All are great reasons to linger for a while in Ubud.

Located far from the center and sounds of Ubud, this quiet resort offers all of the luxuries of a spa and all the advantages of life near the woods.
