Pleasure Island RV Park‎

Pleasure island, in Port Arthur, is an 18.5-mile man-made island that was originally developed as an amusement park, with a ballroom and roller coasters, a midway, and golf course in the early 1900s. Since then, the original attractions have been destroyed via hurricanes and fires and the current Pleasure Island development includes residential homes, fishing piers, campgrounds, a state park, basketball courts, beach volleyball, picnic areas, and Fun Depot, a large wooden play structure for children. The Pleasure Island RV Park offers full hookups, level concrete pads, bath houses and laundry facilities, nature trails, beaches, a bike path, and a playground for kids.
