American River Resort
The resort is a few miles from downtown Cool. American River has 35 sites with full hookups, including electric, water, sewer, dump station and cable television. Reservations are recommended Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pets are welcome, and guests have access to a laundry room, clubhouse, barbecue grills, fire pits and a small on-site convenience store. Hiking, rafting, fishing and boating are nearby.

Camp Lotus
Camp Lotus has 30-amp sites, water, dump station, sewer, Wi-Fi and cable TV hookups. All sites are irrigated so guests have green grass, even during the hot, dry months of summer. Pets are allowed at Camp Lotus, but they need to remain on a leash or under voice control. A laundry room, guest house with kitchen, game room, barbecue grills and playgrounds are available. Camp Lotus has a one-mile hiking trail circling the property. There also is a deli and general store on-site. Reservations are recommended.

Outdoor Adventure River Park
The RV and camping arm of the Beyond Limits Rafting Company, the Outdoor Adventure River RV Park offers sites with full hookups in a wild setting. Electric, water and sewer hook-ups come standard, and cable TV hookups are optional. The park has a kitchen facility, hot showers, private toilets, game room and horseshoe pits. Guests can make reservations for rafting trips and meet their guide at the park. There is a pet-walk area. The park is open April through September and priority is given to rafting guests.
