Lodge on the Roaring Fork
The Lodge on the Roaring Fork is intimate with only five rooms and is located at the Roaring Fork River. All guest rooms feature flat-screen televisions, iPod docks and high-speed Internet access. Dining at the lodge features organic and locally available ingredients. Activities are numerous and include fishing, kayaking and whitewater surfing at the White Water Park. Guided hiking tours with their on-site naturalist take about four to six hours. Several biking excursions are available from the lodge, including the Boy Scout-Glenwood Springs Trail that at 19.5 miles is a local favorite. Rock climbing and ice climbing are also popular.
