Carrabba's Italian Grill is a popular Italian chain restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and usually crowded. This restaurant is suitable date-fare and makes a good choice for a family. Zucca Bar and Pizzeria is a New York transplant with exposed brick walls and a Cheers-type of atmosphere at the bar. Zucca's motto is "New York City is so far away, and life's too short to eat bad pizza." The pizzeria's signature dish is Staten Island thin-crust pizza. Zucca's also has some of the best soups in town. This is a family-friendly restaurant with moderate prices and children's menus. Zucca's keeps later hours than most Kennesaw restaurants. Fusco's is in the neighboring city of Acworth, which is less than five miles from Kennesaw. Located in Acworth's downtown, Fusco's is in a historic brick-exposed building and is a cross between casual and elegant. The pasta dishes range from a spaghetti marinara to a lobster primavera. The menu includes such items as chicken cacciatore, seared blue fin tuna, seared duck breast, pork chops, beef tenderloin stuffed with cheeses or veal scalopine.
