The Rathskeller
The Rathskeller is located in the historic Anthenaeum building right next to the Murat Center. The restaurant is the city's oldest, in operation since 1894. Specializing in German cuisine, the menu is quite extensive, featuring a large selection of chicken, pork, beef and seafood dishes. Start your meal with one of 15 different appetizers including baked brie, Brat 'n Kraut Balls, stuffed mushrooms and pesto French bread. Continue your meal with a soup or salad including Ochsenschwanz Suppe, Wurst Salat or Greek salad. German favorites include Schnitzel, Sauerbraten and Rouladen. As would be expected with a German restaurant, a very large selection of imported beers are offered.

The Elbow Room
Four blocks from the Murat Center is a distinctive flat iron building in which the Elbow Room is located. The menu features American standards chicken fingers, Philly style cheese steak, including club sandwich and reuben sandwich.
