Motels in Greenville, NC

Motels in Greenville, NC
If you are looking for a place to stay after kayaking, canoeing, or observing wildlife in Central North Carolina, Greenville has many reasonable lodging options. Greenville is halfway between the state capital, Raleigh, and the Atlantic Ocean. It is the largest North Carolina city with the closest access to the Pamlico Sound and its tributaries. Because of its size, Greenville can offer more than just a bed to sleep on.

Places to Stay Near Chicod Creek

Chicod Creek, located in Grimesland, just outside of Greenville on Route 33, offers a three-mile kayaking and canoeing trail. The closest place to stay, near the intersection between Route 33 and Route 264, which circles Greenville like a beltway, is the Best Western Suites-Greenville. The rooms are quiet and include a continental breakfast.

A bit further away from that intersection on Route 264 is the Motel 6 Greenville. For the extra distance, it offers a cheaper stay, an earlier check-in time, and twice the number of rooms to choose from.

If you are looking for a more local experience, try the City Hotel and Bistro, located off the beltway section of Route 264 to the South of the Motel 6. They offer large rooms, continental breakfast, and free Wi-Fi in the lobby and pool areas.
