Home of the Volleyball Hall of Fame, Holyoke is located in western Massachusetts just north of Springfield. Outdoor lovers know Holyoke as the gateway to Mount Tom State Reservation. With over 2,082 acres and 20 miles of trails for hiking and biking, Mount Tom is also home to 47 species of trees and numerous birds of prey. Visitors can enjoy fishing on the reservation's Lake Bray or go ice-skating in winter.

Economy Inn

Economy Inn is a small family-run motel with 17 units. Each room has a private bathroom; bathrooms were renovated in 2009. Double beds, queen-size beds, and king-size beds are available. Micro-fridge units are featured in each room, and rooms have air conditioning and heat. There is no restaurant on site and the hotel does not offer breakfast. Special group rates are available if you need a larger number of rooms. Free on site parking is available and the entrance to Mount Tom is just a 4-minute drive.

Motel 6

Located in nearby Chicopee, Motel 6 is about a 15-minute drive from the center of Holyoke and 20 minutes' drive from Mount Tom. Rooms at the motel feature free local calls and expanded cable. Wi-Fi access is available in certain rooms for a daily fee. Pets are allowed, and handicap accessible rooms are available. Although there is free coffee in the mornings, there is not a restaurant on site. Several restaurants are near the motel including Subway, McDonald's, Po's Chinese Restaurant and a 50's style diner. Interstate 291 is easily accessible from the hotel, and there is on site parking for larger vehicles. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located at the motel.
