Margarita's Cantina
This family-owned restaurant is the product of three generations of Mexican cooking and 40 years of experience in the restaurant biz. Margarita's Cantina serves a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, including offerings for the young ones. The Pollo a la Diabla is worth trying; it consists of chicken breast marinated in chipotle sauce, which is then grilled and covered in cheese, with a side of sour cream. Margarita's Cantina also offers dishes for vegetarians, such as a tasty taco salad.

Los Tapatios
All of the food at Los Tapatios is fresh and made from scratch. The super-spicy salsas are a welcome treat. If you can't decide what to order from the extensive menu, go for the Chili Ralleno. The wait staff, all of which are of Latin American descent, are very friendly and give good advice for newcomers to Mexican cuisine. They have a ton of lunch specialties, all of which fall under the $6 price line; most lunch specials come with rice and beans. Children are well taken care of, with a kids' menu consisting of smaller portions of beloved Los Tapatios dishes. Los Tapatios has a second location in nearby Vestal, New York.
