The four paved trails at Cherry Creek State Park‎ run about 11 miles in total, with three of them being accessible to leashed pets. 1515 Restaurant

Eclectic American cuisine lines the menu of the 1515 Restaurant. Expect a sophisticated dining experience in the LoDo neighborhood with "extraordinary service in a relaxed atmosphere." It won the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence nine years in a row, as of 2009. A sample three-course meal at 1515 Restaurant for those with a curious palate might include seared smoked frog legs, three styles of duck and a chocolate tasting. Eat lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

LoLa Costal Mexican

LoLa Costal Mexican cuisine occupies the historic original home to the Ollinger Mortuary. Presenting more than 150 tequila selections, it was named as one of five establishments to drink tequila in the United States by internationally renowned Food and Wine Magazine. Dine in a casual atmosphere overlooking the Denver skyline. This is not your typical Mexican fare. Ingredients like watercress, goat cheese, arugula and heirloom frijoles grace the menu. Vegetable tostada, spinach and arugula salad and guacamole made tableside are vegetarian options. LoLa Costal Mexican starts serving dinner Monday through Friday at 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m. Eat brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Live music is presented on Sunday afternoons.

Black Pearl

Black Pearl specializes in contemporary American cuisine. The ingredients for its menu come from fresh and locally produced ingredients. "Serving foods that are grown and raised in a way that shows respect for nature" shows its commitment to the Earth and its customers. A rotating seasonal menu may include goose points, boring salad and homemade potato gnocchi.
