While its dungeon-like demeanor might off put some out-of-towners (it's made of brick and has no windows), Mesa residents know the food is well worth the visit. Best of all, Golden Gate is extremely affordable. On a budget and famished? Try one of the restaurant's "special" combination dinners. You and your crew can share a healthy dose of Wonton Soup, a "Happy Platter" (which includes egg rolls, garlic chicken wings, fried wonton, fried shrimp and more) and entrees of Mongolian Beef, Moo Shu Pork and Lemon Chicken with the "Family Dinner" for about $15 per person. Extra entrees are added if more people are sharing the dinner.

China China Restaurant is your all-around Americanized Chinese restaurant. Don't come here for authenticity, but do come here hungry. They offer dine-in service, take-out orders, delivery and even take reservations. They're also a great contender for the "best orange chicken in town" award based on many Yelp.com reviews.
China China is variety heaven. Their menu offers dozens of options for chicken, beef and pork dishes. Vegetarian options are also available, including Hot Bean Curd, Sauteed Broccoli with Garlic Sauce and the spicy Kung Pao Vegetables.

This Chinese restaurant is all about authenticity. Reviewers on Yelp.com have likened Golden Valley Chinese Restaurant to the best of the best in San Francisco's Chinatown. Known for their extremely friendly service, Golden Valley offers more than just a smile. Fresh, never frozen ingredients are on the corner of Baseline and Extension Roads, right in the heart of downtown Mesa.
