Copper Harbor, Michigan Bars
At the northern tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula that juts out into Lake Superior sits the tiny, unincorporated community of Copper Harbor, Michigan. Once a 19th century port used to ship copper, the town is now better known for recreation and tourism, as well as a ferry route to Isle Royale National Park. Another nearby destination is the Copper Harbor lighthouse. Although there is only one bar in the immediate area, you can find other options further south on route 41.

Zik's Bar

A quaint little spot located next to the Pines Restaurant at the Pines Resort, Zik's wooden walls are festooned with photos, drawings and other memorabilia that tell the tale of the local residents and culture. A perfect destination after a long day of cross-country skiing or snowshoeing the network of local trials, those wishing to stay overnight can find either cabin or motel lodging available at the resort.

Bear Belly Bar Grill

Offering local brews on tap as well as wines from Michigan's Carrousel Winery, the Bear Belly is the eatery and watering hole attached to the Lac La Belle Lodge. A lunch and dinner menu offers staples, such as burgers, chili and homemade soups, for the hungry traveler, with large windows serving up scenic views of rugged Lac La Belle.
