Il Contadino
Located in the Oltrarno, Il Contadino is a favorite with locals and budget travelers, offering authentic trattoria fare at osteria prices. The dishes aren't elegant, but they are well-prepared and tasty, and it has a fixed-price menu that includes a primo and secondo along with wine for less than you might pay for a plate of spaghetti at a more fashionable restaurant.
