Train Trips in Western Tennessee
Ride the rails in beautiful western Tennessee for adventure, mystery and some plain old-fashioned fun. Tours are scheduled throughout the year, leaving from Nashville and arriving in historic Watertown, Cookeville, and Baxter, Tennessee. Take part in a murder mystery on board the train to Watertown, or take the train and visit the Jazz Festival. There is fun and adventure for all ages on the train tours of western Tennessee. Visit DelMonaco Winery

Board the Nashville Excursion train at the historic Tennessee Railway Museum depot, and head west through Tennessee's beautiful countryside. Just before reaching the town of Cookeville, the train makes a stop in Baxter, Tennessee at the DelMonaco winery. Owned and operated by the DelMonaco family for over 30 years, the winery offers train passengers a wine-tasting experience, visits to the gift shop, a scavenger hunt and lunch.

Murder Mystery Trip to Watertown's Jazz Festival

Each summer, Jazz fans board a train in Nashville. Their destination is the Watertown annual Jazz Festival, and the trip starts out smoothly enough. Suddenly, a scream sounds, followed by gunfire. Someone's been killed. Join the fun, and help find out whodunit on this train ride to fun, adventure and some great Jazz music. Have some good food, some mystery and some cool jazz on this train ride to adventure.

The North Pole Express

Gather up your kids, and head to Nashville. It's time to get on board the North Pole Express at the historic Tennessee Railway Museum depot, and ride with your special conductor: Santa Claus. Enjoy the beautiful west Tennessee landscape passing by outside as Santa entertains the children. Upon arrival, the kids can visit Santa's workshop in the Station Gazebo while you enjoy the beautiful lights and decorations in the town square.
