Italian Restaurants in Little Italy, Manhattan
Every September, the San Gennaro Festival in Manhattan's Little Italy brings the flavor of Italy to New York with a traditional street carnival and festival. Even if you aren't here during the Festival, Little Italy offers authentic Italian food and shopping like no other neighborhood in the city. After a day of exploring Central Park, taking a walking tour of Lower Manhattan or museum hopping, Little Italy has a multitude of Italian restaurants to provide you with a true Italian dining experience, with dishes to satisfy even the pickiest eater.

Casa Bella Ristorante

Casa Bella, in the heart of Little Italy on Mulberry Street, has been serving authentic Italian cuisine since 1979. Three dining rooms, a bar and outside seating for 80 people from May through October ensures that you will find a seat at this restaurant. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and, for parties of 15 people or more, a prix fixe menu. Appetizers like ravioli fritti with vine ripe tomato sauce start your meal off right, and entrees like house-made pappardelle with wild mushrooms and tomatoes, house-made fettuccine with salmon, and veal flambeed with cognac in a tomato cream sauce provide an authentic homemade Italian meal. There is also an extensive wine and martini list available.

Follow these with an entree of half-moon ravioli in a cream tomato sauce; filet mignon with garlic, mixed vegetables, new potatoes and a special house sauce; or eggplant stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta, topped with house-made tomato sauce. These are only a sampling of the extensive entrees available here. There are also daily specials and a detailed wine list.
