Pacific Beach is a small seaside community in San Diego, California. A laid-back and casual town, "PB" as it's known to locals, has stunning beaches and numerous restaurants, bars and clubs, and small boutique-style shops. The options for outdoor fun are seemingly endless; bike, roller blade or walk on the picturesque boardwalk, enjoy water sports like swimming, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing. Hike in nearby Kate O. Sessions Memorial Park or follow the trail from Crown Point to Mission Bay Park. San Diego has a mild climate and beautiful weather most of the year. When you're ready for a meal, choose one of PB's many and varied styles of cuisine.

Ichiban PB

Lines of hungry people form outside the door at Ichiban PB, one of the community's most popular stops for sushi, tempura, teriyaki dishes and more. You'll order your meal at the counter and sit in Ichiban's cozy and casual dining room where wait staff will attend to you. Come in your bike shorts or beachwear and flip flops for some of the area's best sushi and sashimi at very reasonable prices. The service is quick and friendly and there are daily specials. Sushi comes in rolls and hand rolls in varieties like California, tuna and yellowtail, and the spicy TJ roll. Enjoy chicken and beef dishes, seaweed salad and miso soup. Relax with hot or cold sake or opt for wine or beer. There are numerous choices for under $10 including combination meals. Dine in or carry out.

The Broken Yolk Cafe

Another favorite among locals and tourists alike is the Broken Yolk Café, open daily for breakfast and lunch. The café serves home-style comfort food in a casual atmosphere. For breakfast there are over 20 omelets to choose from in addition to dishes like eggs Benedict, Southern biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros, quiche, pancakes and French toast. For lunch, enjoy a variety of sandwiches and burgers, soups and salads. Broken Yolk serves beer, wine and champagne and has a coffee bar serving espresso, cappuccinos and lattes. There are plenty of options under $10 and if you'd like, you can eat on the outside patio and enjoy San Diego's gorgeous weather. The Broken Yolk is open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and attire is casual.

Jordan Restaurant

Try Jordan for upscale dining in an exquisitely decorated, contemporary atmosphere with amazing ocean views. Located inside the Tower 23 luxury hotel, Jordan serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The restaurant has appetizers like mussels, calamari and risotto. There are salads, burgers and sandwiches for lunch like the grilled vegetable Panini and the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy steaks, pastas and a wide variety of seafood including lobster, scallops, shrimp, octopus, swordfish and halibut.
