Linden is a city located in Union County in the state of New Jersey. Linden has several parks, such as Dr. King, Jr. Memorial Park, Milkosky Park and St. Marks Park. If in Linden during the winter, visitors can ice skate in Wilson Park and Andrew Beno's Pond at Veterans Memorial Park. They can also have a picnic in numerous parks or eat in a variety of restaurants.

Boulder Creek Steakhouse

Boulder Creek Steakhouse is a restaurant that serves grilled, center-cut steaks, seasoned with a special blend of spices. The meat served at the restaurant is premium, grain-fed meat and aged for a minimum of 28 days. Diners can also order other items from the menu including chicken, seafood and chop dishes. Some items on the menu, which are served during lunch and dinner, include homemade turkey burger, prime rib sandwich, Buffalo wings, and BBQ baby back ribs. Soups, salads with homemade dressings and pastas are also options. Children 10 or below can order from a kid's menu and each item from the kid's menu includes soda or juice and a scoop of ice cream.

Deli King of Linden

Deli King of Linden is a Jewish, kosher delicatessen that offers kosher catering. Diners can order various kosher deli platters, smoked fish and traditional Jewish favorites, such as stuffed cabbage, chicken in the pot and brisket of beef. The restaurant menu, which is also available for delivery or pick-up, includes sandwiches and wraps, soups, burgers, side orders, eggs, omelets and bagel combinations, desserts and low cholesterol meals. Guests may order The King's Special, which is a sandwich with corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, tongue, lettuce, tomato, coleslaw, potato salad, pickles and olives. Special occasion menus, holiday menus, Shiva menus and party packages are also available. Deli King of Linden is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Original SoupMan

The restaurant, The Original SoupMan, is based on the character, "The Soup Nazi" from the TV show, "Seinfeld." Soup is prepared based on market availability and the menu changes daily. Customers can order hot soup, such as lobster, crab, shrimp,or seafood combination bisque; black bean, lentil, lima bean, black eye pea soup; turkey, beef, chicken, sausage, or mushroom soup; and clear broth soups, such as chicken vegetable and chicken broccoli. Chilled soup include gazpacho, cucumber and vichyssoise. Other soup that diners can order include barley, gumbo, goulash and creamless vegetable soups, such as asparagus, mushroom and potatoes and corn. Menu items and store operating hours vary depending on the location.
