The McCall Winter Carnival is a celebration of local arts, crafts and history that features intricate ice and snow sculptures. Scandia Inn

The Scandia Inn motel is three blocks from downtown McCall and Lake Payette. The motel is close to both Brundage Mountain and Tamarack Ski Resort. Twelve of the 16 rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Each room has one of three themes--bear, deer or moose. Every room comes with a coffee pot, log chairs, desk and Ethernet connection. Ethernet cables are available from the front desk upon request. Squirrels, foxes, deer and multiple types of birds are regular visitors at the motel year-round. McCall's small size makes it a quick drive to any of the restaurants, including the Pancake House & Christmas House, where it is Christmas all year long.
