Applewood Inn & Llama Trekking
Why limit yourself to hiking with dogs? The Applewood Inn offers two-hour mountain treks with llamas. About 15 miles from Balcony Falls, or a 25-minute drive, the bed-and-breakfast offers four rooms. The inn is on 37 acres above Buffalo Creek and adjacent to 900 acres of property with miles of hiking trails. Check-in times are from 4 to 10 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9 a.m. every day, and all rooms include private baths, queen beds, central air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Some rooms have a Jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace. The property also includes an in-ground swimming pool and hot tub. Dogs are allowed for a $20 fee the first night and $10 for subsequent nights.

Natural Bridge Hotel
