Las Vegas, Nevada, is one of the most exciting tourist destinations in the United States. Visitors can enjoy gambling, shopping, fine dining and vibrant nightlife, while having easy access to tours of natural wonders such as the Grand Canyon and Red Rock Canyon. There is truly something in Las Vegas for everyone, but one thing that every Vegas traveler must do is eat. Las Vegas has an array of dining options, including fine Japanese restaurants.

Koi Restaurant and Lounge

Koi Restaurant is at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, near all of the Las Vegas Strip activities and attractions. The restaurant offers a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere, while integrating traditional Asian decor. The restaurant's location provides beautiful views of the Bellagio Fountains. Popular cold dishes include Yellowtail Carpaccio with Grapeseed Oil and Crispy Rice Topped with Spicy Tuna. You can also choose one of the signature warm dishes, which include Miso-Bronzed Black Cod with Seasonal Vegetables and Kobe Beef Filet Mignon Toban-Yaki. Restaurant hours are 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, as of December 2009. Business casual attire is recommended.

Benihana

Benihana is in the Las Vegas Hilton, just off the Strip. Enjoy a garden-like atmosphere as you watch your chef prepare your meal, right before your eyes, on a hibachi table. Popular entrees include teriyaki steak and hibachi chicken. Onion, zucchini and fresh mushrooms are included with each entree. Complement your meal with a glass of authentic sake. Although there is no official dress code, business casual attire is preferred. Benihana is open for dinner from 5 until 11 p.m. seven days a week.

Shibuya

Shibuya is conveniently located in the MGM Grand Hotel, on the Las Vegas Strip. This restaurant is sleek and sophisticated and offers a wide array of dishes to choose from. Specialty items include Kani Salad, Braised Kobe Beef Short Rib, Kampachi Sashimi, and Lobster and Scallop. Shibuya also has a large selection of sake to complement your meal. Dress code is resort casual, so avoid wearing shorts, jeans or casual sandals. Restaurant hours are 5 to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, as of December 2009.
