Fadó Denver
Fadó Denver is one of a chain of Fadó pubs located throughout the U.S. The pub's interior, with its wood furnishings and cobblestone floors, was imported from Ireland, and the bar is painted with murals depicting Irish scenes. Traditional Irish music is performed live every Monday and Wednesday, and televised British sporting events (soccer and rugby) are broadcast on weekends.
The menu is more fusion than traditional, featuring such items as Guinness BBQ wings and chicken or veggie potato boxty quesadillas, although you can order a shepherd's pie or corned beef and cabbage should you so desire. A full Irish breakfast is served all day long, featuring eggs, Irish sausages, rashers (bacon strips), black pudding, white pudding, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and fried potato bread. On draught you may order Guinness (of course), Harp, Bass, Smithwick's, Strongbow Cider, and Newcastle Brown Ale, along with several other domestic and European beers, and additional bottled selections are also available. Pub specialty drinks include the Black and Tan (Guinness and Bass), the Black Velvet (Guinness and cider), and the Shandy (Harp with lemon-lime soda).

Irish Snug
The Irish Snug is one of the only Irish pubs in the U.S. to feature an actual "snug," a small, private area that has direct bar access. This pub has been singled out for praise by such sources as USA Today and Denver's Channel 7 News. The events calendar at the Irish Snug is full, with weekly pub trivia nights on Tuesdays, jazz/swing music on Wednesdays, and traditional Irish ballads on Saturdays.
The menu is eclectic, ranging from corned beef egg rolls to zucchini hash browns to strawberry spinach salad, although corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, and fish and chips are all on the menu. The Irish Snug's version of an Irish breakfast includes fried eggs, rashers, bangers, baked beans, grilled tomatoes and toast, with black and/or white pudding and chips available a la carte. The bar offers 22 different drafts, including Irish beers (Guinness, Harp, Smithwick's), European brews (Stella Artois, Paulaner Hefe-Weizen, Kronenbourg 1664), and a few Colorado microbrews (Tommyknocker Naked Tinker Ale, Tommyknocker 5 Lamps Lager, Odell 5 Barrel Pale Ale). The Snug also prides itself on offering one of the best whiskey selections in the entire Rocky Mountain region, and happy hour mixed drink specials are available every day of the week from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
