Motels in Espanola, New Mexico

Motels in Espanola, New Mexico
Considered by some to be the jewel of northern New Mexico, Espanola was founded in 1598 by Spain as the first capital of the state. The town sits in the northern Rio Grande Valley between the Jemez Mountains and Truchas Peaks. As such, it is a very convenient base for exploring northern New Mexico. For hikers, nearby Window Rock cannot be beat, with a nine-mile, out-and-back trail, and skiers can ride the slopes of the Taos Ski Resort. Moreover, Espanola has many lodging options and a fine selection of restaurants.
