Motels in Drumright, Oklahoma

Motels in Drumright, Oklahoma
Drumright, Oklahoma, and nearby Cushing lay at the center of a large, productive oilfield in the 1910s and 1920s. The town sprung up shortly after a wildcatter struck oil, causing a rush of speculators, oilfield workers and merchants into the area; the town itself took the name of farmer and businessman Aaron Drumright, a farmer and businessman. Present-day Drumright has two golf courses, a community theater and a lake resort for water skiing, fishing, camping, sailing or swimming. If you prefer to stay on land, check out the local tennis, volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer in one of the beautiful parks. Taste some local flavor by visiting Drumright's winery, the Tidal School Vineyards. For an inexpensive and comfortable stay, visit one of Drumright's several motels.
