Fenton is a growing suburb on the outer edge of St. Louis, next to Highway 44 and the Meramac River. Campers, hikers and mountain bikers looking for a quick bite to eat on their way to the Chubb Trail or the Shaw Nature Reserve Trail can stop in Fenton and find several good Chinese restaurants without having to veer far from the highway.

Ho Wan Chinese Restaurant

Ho Wan is a quick and casual strip mall restaurant with a small dining area. The food is good, staff is friendly and the menu covers both traditional Chinese and Thai food. They also have a children's menu that features chicken strips and corn dogs for the picky eater. Ho Wan is located in Gravois Bluffs shopping plaza next to a grocery store, big box home improvement store and near two discount retailers---making it a great stopping place for campers and hikers who need to pick up supplies along with their dinner. Ho Wan is located about three miles from Highway 44, but is well worth the side trip.

Lisa's Wok

A casual Chinese restaurant known for its brazed chicken and great buffet selections. The service here is quick and friendly and the food is budget priced. Lisa's Wok is located close to the intersection of Highway 44 and Highway 141, so travelers won't need to wander far from the road in search of a good meal. Children's menus are available.
