West Palm Beach Italian Restaurants

West Palm Beach Italian Restaurants
West Palm Beach is one of South Florida's vacation hot spots, drawing visitors from all over the world to its gorgeous beaches and hopping nightlife. Certain areas of West Palm Beach, like CityPlace in downtown, cater to a decidedly upscale crowd, so there's plenty of exquisite fine dining and world-class shopping to go around. Outdoors lovers will enjoy excellent bike riding, fishing and surfing, among dozens of other activities in this tropical atmosphere. Italian cuisine is particularly well-represented. For a hearty plate of ravioli or a delectable brick oven pizza, look no further than downtown West Palm Beach.

Marcello's La Sirena

This enormously popular Italian eatery has been serving the city of West Palm Beach since 1986. Marcello's La Sirena consistently ranks high among even the most fickle restaurant critics. In addition to standard Italian fare like rigatoni alla vodka and veal scaloppine, La Sirena serves up some yummy surprises like its fabulous house specialty, yellowtail snapper for two. La Sirena's award-winning wine list features bottles from around the world, including dozens of rare and vintage wines you won't find anywhere else. Valet parking is available.

Il Bellagio

Located in the heart of CityPlace, West Palm's busy commercial district and walking mall, this noisy Italian bistro is one of the best and busiest restaurants in the city. In addition to its excellent location and festive ambience, Il Bellagio offers outstanding service even during the weekend rush when out-of-towners flock to CityPlace by the busload. All the classics of Italian cooking are here: chicken parmigiana, spaghetti Bolognese, and fettuccine alfredo, to name a few. The salmon sautéed in Amaretto cream sauce and toasted almonds is also to die for. If you can, snag a table outside so you can enjoy the cool ocean breeze and classical fountains in the main plaza.

Renato's

Renato's is considered one of the most romantic restaurants in all of West Palm Beach due to its classic European décor, atmospheric lighting and professional service. With such great ambience you'd expect the food to be outstanding, and Renato's certainly does not disappoint. Since 1987, Renato's has been delighting customers with freshly prepared Italian dishes like pappardelle with veal and wild mushroom ragu, tagliolini alla Bolognese, and sautéed black grouper served with polenta. You can also start off your meal with some delicate proscuitto ham and sweet cantaloupe melon. Everything here is taken into consideration down to the finest details. The result is a well-rounded, elegant restaurant that's perfect for any special occasion.
