Situated a little over an hour from Denver, the Cheyenne Mountain Resort boasts a wide array of recreational opportunities, including swimming, fishing and paddleboating in the on-site 35-acre lake, four on-site swimming pools (including one indoor option), hiking around the paths around the resort and more. Resort amenities include on-site health club, high-speed Internet and meeting/conference rooms. Also about an hour away from Denver, The Broadmoor is a sprawling, 3,000-acre Colorado resort property. Recreational opportunities present themselves in the form of an on-site fitness center, two swimming pools, a lap pool, a 54-hole golf course and six tennis courts. This is a pet-friendly property. There are 744 guestrooms, each of which comprises one king-size or two double beds, private bathrooms, flat-panel TV, individual climate control and large picture windows. There are also several on-site dining options as well.
