Nyood Restaurant

Nyood Restaurant is a popular Queen West eatery, with a unique contemporary vibe and industrial decor. The menu features new takes on Mediterranean cuisine, stripping each dish down to its essentials and creating interesting textures and aromas. Among the most popular creations are flatbread pizzas, that combine ingredients such as beef carpaccio and arugula puree. Other favorites include Malta Braised Short Ribs and Seared Herb Polenta.

Colborne Lane

Colborne Lane is Chef Claudio Aprile's response to the molecular gastronomy movement, which sees science melded with ingredients to create interesting textures and flavors. Purees are flash frozen to create foam condiments. Ice cream is made at your table with liquid nitrogen. Exotic dishes, such as vanilla and cardamom poached lobster with veal cheek and oyster mushroom ragout, are served with parsnip puree and a ponzu hollandaise sauce. The tasting menu offers a popular way to experience many of the restaurant's unique flavors.

Greg Couillard's Spice Room and Chutney Bar

Greg Couillard is restaurateur royalty in Toronto and Spice Room is his newest creation. The restaurant is located in upscale Hazelton Lanes, and features a modern interpretation of African design and decor. Spice Room infuses a modern menu with strong African flavors and spices. The menu includes Duqqa spiced, rubbed, kumbata pork tenderloin and Cameroon rubbed, jerked baby chicken.
