Puccini's opened its first restaurant in 1991 and has expanded to include several locations in Indiana and Kentucky. Offering a casual atmosphere and reasonable prices, the chain specializes in innovative pizza and pasta dishes. Creatively named specialty pizzas include Twice Baked, made of new potatoes, bacon, green onions, smoked gouda and buttermilk herb dressing; Campfire, made of smoked sausage, gorgonzola cheese, fresh rosemary and sweet onion marmalade; and Cactus Delectus, topped with red and yellow peppers, chorizo sausage, cilantro, chillies and jack cheese.
