One doesn't often associate RV camping with Los Angeles, but there are parks throughout the area, with convenient access to the city's abundant attractions, including the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Universal Studios, museums, professional and college sporting events and the beaches. You also can be in the mountains or the desert within three hours.

Walnut RV Park

Walnut RV Park in Northridge has a central location near three major freeways, Universal Studios and Hollywood. Amenities include full hookups, Wi-Fi, swimming pool and sunning area, showers, private toilets, cable television and a clubhouse with full kitchen. The location gives visitors a quiet space while still being near the center of Los Angeles. Pets are allowed.

KOA Pomona Fairplex Complex RV Park

The park is near Knott's Berry Farm amusement park, Hollywood, Disneyland and Universal Studios. As a KOA, it offers guests AAA discounts, full hookups, a playroom for kids, pet-friendly sites and walking areas, cable television and Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, showers, laundry facility, dump station and a clubhouse/lounge. There is a full gym and mini-mart on the grounds. Reservations are recommended during the peak summer visitor season (Memorial Day through Labor Day.)

Anaheim Resort and RV Park

Next door to Disneyland is the Anaheim Resort and RV Park. A family-fun destination, the resort has game rooms and parks for kids and is pet-friendly. Sites include hookups, Wi-Fi for a fee, cable television, and access to the resort's swimming pool, spa, meeting room, laundry room, showers and toilets, RV supply store and free Disneyland shuttle. The park also offers handicap-access sites, picnic tables and a pet-walking area. The park has pull-through sites and can accommodate up to 41 feet with slideouts. Reservations are strongly recommended during the summer season, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
