The city's participation in the Texas Main Street Project entails numerous restored buildings in town, some of which are listed on the National Register of Historical Places.

Boon RV Park

Boon RV Park is located in the Texas Hill country amidst a setting of live oaks and pecan trees. Plenty of recreational activities are available in the surrounding area. Across the highway is Hancock Park, which has room for family activities and an occasional game of golf. The park has 39 sites and they accommodate double slide-outs and pull-throughs. All sites have full hook-ups and the park also offers tent camping sites.

Our Friends Campground & RV Park

Our Friends Campground offers a 10 percent discount for active military members and does not have any add-on fees. Pets and even pet-friendly horses are welcome!
