Located midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Pismo Beach is a coastal town known for its acclaimed Monarch Butterfly Grove, its tide pools, hiking, golf, scuba diving, horseback riding and beach activities. Pismo Beach also has a 1,200-foot pier for fishing and watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Pismo State Beach is home to the largest winter colony of monarch butterflies in the United States.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort is a 26-acre park nestled along the beach and has 400 sites with 30- and 50-amp full hookups. It is open year-round and can accommodate big rigs. The resort features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a heated swimming pool, miniature golf course, basketball court and is pet-friendly. Bicycle rentals and tent campsites are also available.

Holiday RV Park

Holiday RV Park is two blocks from Pismo Beach and has 95 sites with 30- and 50-amp full hookups. It is open all year and features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a heated swimming pool, hot tub and is pet-friendly.

Pismo State Beach -- Oceano Campground

The Oceano Campground has 70 sites and features restrooms, showers, beach access and is pet-friendly. It is open all year and generators may only operate between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Sept. 16 to May 14, and between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. from May 15 to Sept. 15.

The North Beach Campground has 102 sites and features restrooms, showers, an RV dumping station, beach access, Monarch Butterfly Grove access and is pet-friendly. It is open all year and generators may only operate between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Sept. 16 to May 14, and between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. from May 15 to Sept. 15.
