Homestead, Florida RV Parks
Located near the southernmost tip of Florida, Homestead is 10 miles east of the Everglades and 30 miles south of Miami. The city has a deep history in farming and was the starting point of the old Overseas Railway that temporarily connected the Florida Keys to the Miami area in the early 1900s. After a hurricane destroyed part of the railroad in 1935, a road from Miami through the Keys was built.
