Cheap Hotels in Washington, DC

Cheap Hotels in Washington, DC
The District of Columbia draws millions of visitors each year, many of them coming to see the famous monuments, tour the White House, visit the Smithsonian Museums or admire the beautiful cherry blossoms in springtime. While its outdoor attractions may be lesser-known, nevertheless nature-loving tourists (and locals) enjoy the numerous recreation opportunities Washington, D.C., has to offer, including hiking the C&O Canal Path, kayaking on the Potomac River or fishing the Anacostia.

The District can be an expensive place to visit, as many area hotels are either high-priced or located at some distance outside of town, but several small independent hotels still offer lower-priced lodgings within easy walking distance of some of the nation's capital's most popular attractions.
