Key Sailing
Key Sailing, based in Sarasota, operates a genuine 41-foot racing sailboat, the Classic Morgan II and at least five different types and lengths of trips. If you're a beginning sailor just wanting to spend an hour or two out on the water, Key will take you out on the Morgan to spot the wildlife in Siesta Key's unique coastal ecosystem, from ospreys and pelicans to the rare bottlenose porpoise. If you have a minimum of six passengers, opt for the "Dolphin," an eight-hour sailing excursion that will take you to see the sights of Siesta Key, Longboat and Lido Keys, the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.
