Motels in Ely, Nevada

Motels in Ely, Nevada
Ely, Nevada, is one of the most beautiful spots in the southwest. At an elevation of about 6,427 feet, it's home to many trails, caves and other natural wonders to explore. It's also a great place for winter sports such as ice fishing. Because it is located equidistant to many larger cities, including Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Salt Lake City, Utah, Ely is also a lively little town to stop at on your way to other destinations.

Hotel Nevada and Gambling Hall

The historic Hotel Nevada is located on Ely's main street. When it was built in 1929, at six stories it was the tallest building in the state at that time. It is the only place in town that offers live casino table games. The Hotel Nevada also has a restaurant that offers 24-hour $5 breakfast specials. Be sure to try the scones--they're a regional specialty.
