122 Pizza-Bistro

122 Pizza Bistro's stylish interior and extensive wine list give no indication that it is a pizza house. Dress is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed with a definite New York City vibe. The dinner menu boasts a variety of reasonably-priced appetizers, salads, pastas and entrees. A separate pizza menu offers traditional pizza pies as well as a few originals like a roasted garlic chicken pizza, shrimp pizza topped with basil aioli or a California club made with apple-smoked bacon, grilled chicken and mozzarella topped with lettuce, roma tomatoes, basil aioli and fresh-sliced avocado.

122 Pizza-Bistro is located off of highway I-95 just a few minutes from Stamford's beaches---Cummings Park and Cove Island Park. They are open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and dinner only on Sunday. Reservations are suggested.

Remo's Brick Oven Pizza Company

This casual Italian eatery is centrally located in downtown Stamford. Remo's Brick Oven Pizza Company offers up old world-style pizza pies in a casual atmosphere at family-friendly prices. The menu includes a variety of salads, appetizers, sandwiches, pastas and entrees. But it is the brick oven-baked pizzas that dominate the menu. In addition to the standard margherita, white clam and pepperoni pizzas, they add a few twists of their own like their New England Pizza topped with shrimp, clams, garlic and fresh mozzarella and the Classic Salad Pie topped with mixed greens, tomato and fresh mozzarella.

Classic Italian desserts are available, such as tiramisu, cannoli and lemon sorbet, and a wine list is available. Remo's Brick Oven Pizza Company is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday.

Atlantic Pizza House offers standard Italian fare in a casual and cozy storefront in downtown Stamford. Dine in, take out or have them deliver your food to you.
