Savute's Italian Ristorante
Owner Pete Savute's grandparents were first-generation Italian immigrants who used to haul coal from southeastern Kansas to Wichita. In 1944 they noticed a property for sale on North Broadway and so their story began. What evolved was a family-run restaurant featuring the food they'd grown up with, such as beef scaloppini, spaghetti and meatballs and baked chicken cacciatore, plus sizzling steaks.
