Fairbanks, Alaska is located in the Alaskan interior where outdoor adventure is unique to that of any other area. The vast untamed wilderness provides excellent opportunities for kayaking, hunting, fishing, hiking and even dog sledding. Although winters can be harsh, proper preparation and gear will allow you enjoy the outdoors during these months. After an adventurous day, you will look forward to hitting the hay in a rustic, cozy cabin.

Beaver Creek Guest Cabins

These 1 or 2 bedroom cabins are located on thirty acres that borders a migratory waterfowl refuge. The cabins have a spectacular view of the Northern Lights. Each cabin sleeps up to 4 persons and has a mountain lodge decor with knotty pine walls throughout. There is a studio cabin which does not include a kitchen. Cabins with bedrooms also have a full kitchen that is open to the other room, yet small enough to be efficient. These kitchens have a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. A cozy corner of these kitchens contains a farmhouse table. Dishes and linens are provided for all guests. These country cabins have a telephone and television with VCR. Each cabin also has a covered front porch where you can gaze into the Alaskan wilderness and take in a fresh breath of cool mountain air.

Five Star Log Cabins

These cabins are located close to the airport and downtown Fairbanks. They are also in close proximity to dining, a laundromat, and internet cafe. These rustic cabins are built from thick logs and have a pioneer feel complete with tin roof. They are nestled in tall, thin oaks that provide natural beauty. The interiors are a combination of wood slat paneling and traditional sheetrock walls. Kitchens are furnished with stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster oven and all cooking equipment. The cabins are warmly heated with oil heaters. The bedrooms are lofts in the top of the cabin, where you will fine a pine futon adorned with warm country quilts. There is a television with DVD player, barbecue grill, and lawn chairs.

Riverbend

These log cabins have loft bedrooms with walk-out decks where you can observe nature at its finest. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served to you in your cabin each morning. For lunch and dinner meals, you will enjoy preparing a meal or light snack in the fully-equipped kitchens which include refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, dishes and coffee maker. Queen-sized beds feature plush pillowtop mattresses, willow headboards, and thick blankets. Windows are strategically located throughout the cabins for maximum privacy while allowing excellent scenic views. Nature trails wind to the Chena River, where you will enjoy a variety of fishing including salmon fishing in season. An added treat is the availability of wild berries for picking and outdoor grills for cooking your catch.
