Marina d'Amalfi Trattoria
Marina d'Amalfi has become extremely popular over the years, thanks to authentic southern Italian cuisine. Chef Giuseppe Cinque, a native of Positano, Italy, has been working in Connecticut Italian restaurants for over 10 years. His experience includes other popular spots like Solé in New Canaan, Siena in Stamford and Terra in Greenwich. While his real specialty may be seafood, Cinque prepares a wide range of yummy dishes like osso buco with risotto, and spaghetti Carbonara. The restaurant has impressive nightly specials menus featuring over a dozen seasonal offerings. This, in addition to the other fantastic items on the regular menu, make Marina d'Amalfi a winner among Norwalk's top restaurants.

Pasta Nostra
Words alone cannot describe the quality of the homemade pasta at this Norwalk institution. In the 1980s, Pasta Nostra was originally a take-out place selling fresh pastas, sauces and sausages. Soon, chef Joe Bruno decided to set up a few tables and start serving simple pasta dishes at lunch. Within a few months, word of his pasta greatness had spread like wildfire, and the restaurant was born. Today, only the restaurant remains, and it's more than enough to keep Joe's loyal customers coming back time and time again. The constantly changing menu features the freshest local and imported ingredients imaginable, and for this reason many consider Pasta Nostra to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the entire tri-state area. Reservations are an absolute must, and you may even need to book several days in advance.
