The Gaylord Palms Hotel hosts many conventions throughout the year, so it is common for visitors to seek out hotels near this mega resort. At the heart of Kissimmee's tourist district, this area offers easy access to Central Florida's theme parks as well as activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Tucked around Kissimmee are fresh-water lakes for water sports and nature trails for hiking, bird watching and eco-tours.

Mona Lisa Suite Hotel

Luxury abounds at this all-suite hotel on the outskirts of Celebration, Florida, a small town near the Walt Disney World Resort. All 240 suites have one or two bedrooms, full kitchen, Egyptian cotton linens and a private, furnished balcony. The Galerie Restaurant & Bar is located on the premises, as is a circular infinity pool and landscaped sunbathing deck. The Radisson Resort Parkway boasts 718 rooms and suites, with custom furnishings and amenities including free Internet access in all guest rooms There are four dining options on-site, and a "Kids Eat Free" program available with different packages. This hotel sits on 20 landscaped acres and offers a lushly landscaped free-form pool complete with waterfalls, two whirlpools and a 40-foot waterslide. The fitness center has been recently renovated and there are lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball and jogging areas on the property.

The Palms Hotel & Villas

The Palms offers both regular guest rooms and one- or two-bedroom suites. The rooms offer two double or two king beds, while the suites have separate sleeping areas, full kitchens and a dining or work area. High-speed Internet access is available in the rooms and lobby but not in the suites. Pets under 60 pounds are welcome at this property, but in the guest suites only.

Amenities include two outdoor pools, a whirlpool, fitness center and two gazebos with gas grills for cooking out. Free continental breakfast is offered daily to all hotel guests, and The Palms also provides a free scheduled shuttle to the Walt Disney World Resort.
