Old Town Sacramento is a thriving 28 acre National Historic Landmark District. Visitors will find dining, and shopping, as well as many historic sites at their disposal. Cyclists will want to consider a day on the Jedediah Smith Memorial trail, a 32 mile paved path that parallels the American River and ends in Old Town. After a day of exploring, visitors can relax at one of the local hotels.

Embassy Suites

Embassy Suites is the only all-suite hotel on the Sacramento River. The scenic location provides quick access to all Old Town attractions, as well as the Riverside Promenade walking/ jogging path. Hotel amenities include a pool and fitness center, and a concierge desk is available to guests during their stay. All suites include a parlor room and bedroom. Delta King

This floating hotel will afford guests a stay unlike any other in Old Town Sacramento. The Delta King is an historic riverboat permanently moored on the Sacramento River, and in addition to operating as a hotel, it is also home to two restaurants and two dinner theaters. Guests can choose between one of 44 rooms with river or city views. Amenities include wireless Internet, flatscreen TVs, and the use of nearby Capital Athletic Club for a small fee.
