Atmore, Alabama is a small town about 50 miles north of Mobile, Alabama. It is filled with old fashioned traditions, such as the one in which stores close on Thursday afternoon. The area is best known as the home of the Poarch Creek Indians, so there is plenty of unspoiled land in the area.
